HANDLE

The handle of this pocket knife is made of fossilized blue mammoth ivory: each piece is unique, with shades ranging from deep blue to translucent hues, bearing witness to thousands of years of history.

BLADE

  • 160-layer stainless Damascus blade: RWL34 for the bright part + PMC27 for the dark part, fused at 1220°C.

Maintenance

Avoid prolonged contact with water—never put it in the dishwasher! Simply rinse the blade under warm running water and use the soft side of a sponge to clean it. Then, carefully dry it with a soft, clean cloth.

For sharpening, maintain an angle between 15 and 20 degrees. If you're experienced, use a Japanese whetstone, or opt for a guided sharpener like the Horl, available [here]!

If you're ever in the Basque Country, feel free to stop by our workshop—we’d be happy to take care of the maintenance for you!
